It could be that Xbox Game Pass had a nice surprise in store in the form of a new game that was very popular with its subscribers… before it was released through an involuntary leak.
Xbox Game Pass users have reported receiving a notification reminding them of upcoming releases in June. In addition to several games already announced, a new, still-secret game was included in the message to subscribers, much to the delight of life simulator fans.
A nice surprise from Xbox Game Pass accidentally leaked
This applies in particular to the Reddit Dedicated to Xbox Game Pass, a subscriber shared his discovery. Here, the new trending games available or coming this month on the Microsoft service are reported. We find Octopath Traveler 2, available since June 6, as well as Isonzo, released on June 13. Finally, the notification mentions a certain and very popular My Time at Sandrock, which has not yet been the subject of an announcement.
Currently, My Time at Portia is the only Pathea Games game available on Xbox Game Pass. It therefore seems that its successor, which will be released on November 2, 2023 for PC, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch, will be released by surprise in the coming days. As a reminder, this is a 3D Stardew Valley survival simulator. The goal is to build and manage a farm in the desert town of Sandrock, building relationships with its inhabitants and sometimes fighting creatures or human opponents who threaten to plunder this small sandy oasis of peace.
Also remember that Xbox Game Pass has currently detailed its program only until tomorrow, June 18. Beyond that, the mystery surrounding the upcoming new games remains unsolved. But the recent leaks in addition to those of today have already partially spoiled the surprise. Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 1 or 2, as well as the great Tchia, could thus join My Time at Sandrock on Microsoft’s subscription service in the second half of June.
