The currently popular shooter XDefiant from Ubisoft is getting another much-requested and popular game mode. It starts tomorrow, Friday!
Since its launch on May 21, the shooter XDefiant has already won over a number of genre fans and has received mostly positive reviews, even if the free-to-play game still has a few problems. While Ubisoft is fixing these, it is also working on new content to keep players interested – and now a popular game mode is being added to the game again.
After recently confirming the content for Season 1 of the shooter, including new maps, weapons and a new faction, as part of Ubisoft Forward, the arrival of another game mode that has been requested by many in the community has now been announced for the current week: the classic Team Deathmatch.
The development team confirmed via social media that this game mode will launch tomorrow, June 21, 2024. This will join existing modes such as Domination or Escort. As is usual in other shooters, two teams compete against each other in Team Deathmatch and vie for the most kills in a game.
XDefiant is currently available for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. You can watch the latest trailer for Season 1 content below.
