The game was announced after reports. And now it seems that, after the rumor of its release date, as well as its animated prequel, we now have more details.
A few weeks ago it shared the status of its development, and now we would have a new leaked date, as reported yesterday. Now the rumor of its release date has been confirmed.
The title, which was already shown in a trailer in January, has been officially confirmed for the October 25, 2024 and now we have learned that some of its versions seem to offer extra content in Sonic x Shadow Generations.
Specifically, SEGA has confirmed these contents in the versions for PS4/PS5:
- Includes extended prologue animation titled “Dark Beginnings.”
- Not available on the Nintendo Switch or Xbox Series X|S versions.
- “Dark Beginnings” will be an exclusive DLC for PlayStation owners.
