Memories in Orbit puts us in the role of a robot called MIO exploring a gigantic demolished spaceship.

During Nintendo Direct Focus Entertainment and Twelve Tenths announced their collaboration. It is MIO: Memories in Orbit, a new sci-fi odyssey that combines the metroidvania genre with a unique artistic direction. The title puts us in the role of a robot called MIO, to explore and conquer the Vessel, a gigantic labyrinthine spaceship, to save it from extinction.

Twelve Tenths is an independent studio founded in 2017. Based in Paris and originally formed by seven friends from different backgrounds (animation, civil engineering, research, architecture), the team now has more than twenty talents . Twelve Tenths Released in 2020, its first title, Shady Part of Me, mixed puzzles, platforming and dreams, marking the studio’s first collaboration with Focus Entertainment.

MIO it’s an agile robot with extraordinary abilities. We woke up in the Ship, a spaceship drifting aimlessly in space. This immense technological ark, whose initial purpose remains unknown, today lies like a field of ruins, covered with luxurious vegetation and crazy machines.
