THE Cellar key is a special item you find in Belurat, Tower Settlement in Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. It unlocks a secret room near the “Small Private Altar” at the Site of Grace, but to find it you’ll need to explore a little further into the dungeon.

How to get the storage room key
From the Grace’ websiteSmall private altar‘ in the dungeon of the Belurat Tower colony, head to the right Exit the building, go up the stairs and wait for the horned knight to pass by. Follow them to the left. You can fight them if you want, but you can also just walk around them. You’ll want to hide here on the right:
Watch out for the shadow enemy to your immediate left, just behind the wall, as he will sneak up behind you if you aren’t careful. Deal with them, then turn around the corner. There is another shadow ahead of you here, but another one will emerge from the right to attack you. Take them both out, then jump onto the rubble to your left, drop down the other side, and enter the small room on the other side of the sewer.
Deal with the shadow in front of the ladder, then climb up it. THE The key to the storage room is on the corpse at the top of the ladder.so you just need to collect it from the corpse by interacting with it.
Where to use store key
To use the store key, you can either go back the way you came to the grace site, orSmall private altar‘, or just a quick trip back.
Once there, instead of turning right, head to the left out of the room onto the walkway where two shadow witches stand. Deal with them and continue to the other side of the walkway. Le Débarras is on your left.
Inside you will find a strange old woman muttering to herself. It’s the Grandma Hornsent NPC, but if you haven’t completed this dungeon yet, there’s not much more you can do at this point. Instead, for Grandmother Hornsent to open up to you, you will need to defeat the Belurat Tower Settlement boss, the Dancing Lion of the Divine Beast before you can continue.
Once you defeat the Dancing Lion Divine Beast and claim the Divine beast head helmet, return to the store and talk to the woman again once you have this new helmet equipped (the dancing lion head model of the divine beast in the corner serves as a clue here).
Now that you are wearing the Divine Beast Head, Grandma Hornsent will come to life and start talking with you. Keep talking to her and she will ask you to “take revenge on Messmer and his fate.” At the end of the conversation, she will reward you with a new Incantation spell: ‘Watchful mind‘.
“Watchful spirit” summons a guardian spirit above the caster’s head, and costs 12 FP to use. It requires a Faith stat of 26 and uses one memory slot.
