Riot Games had been talking for some time about the fact that it was creating a new League of Legends game mode. For the first time in the entire history of the MOBA, this mode in question will bet on a PvE aspectso players will have to unite and collaborate with each other to face hordes of enemies with gameplay that will resemble that of Vampire Survivors.
With the name of Swarm | Operation: Anima Squadron, the objective will be to face an invasion of beings called abyssal primordians. These creatures have almost completely devastated all of humanity, so the few survivors will form the so-called Anima Squad to completely eradicate this threat in a setting known as Last Bastion, in which the frenetic action will seem to have no end.
Up to four players They will join a team in which they will take control of some of the best-known champions in the game, who will be turned into super-powered, cybernetic warriors with weapons that can be unlocked and upgraded. In fact, you can also obtain gold to acquire power-ups that will become permanent improvements, which will help you start a new game with some additional advantage.
Another of the greatest curiosities of this game mode is that the characters will not move as usual. Instead you will have to use the WASD keys on the keyboard on a map in which the hordes of enemies will be constant and in which missions will have to be completed. What’s more, these are the champions that have been confirmed to be selectable:
- Aatrox primordiano
- Aurora Battle Rabbit
- Bel’Veth primordiana
- Primordial briar
- Illaoi battle bear
- lioness battle lion
- Miss Fortune Battle Rabbit
- Rek’Sai primordiana
- Seraphine battle pigeon
- Xayah battle bat
- Battle Wolf Yasuo
- Yuumi cyber babe
As you can see, among them will be Aurora, the new champion who has just been presented. That is, this vastaya mage, as well as the new game mode, will arrive on the same day: the July 17th. That same day, patch 14.14 and a new event will be implemented that will allow you to unlock chromas, borders, emoticons and other series of special items.
However, it must be emphasized that Enjambre | Operation: Anima Squadron has not come to stay, so you will have to give it all the pressure you can during the month that it will remain active, since on August 19 it will disappear and time will tell if Riot Games decides to bring it back or not. Everything will depend on the opinions that the community ends up contributing.
