Aldi is offering a robust E-SUV bike from June 23rd. The Pedelec costs just 999 dollars – is it any good?

From June 23, Aldi will be offering new deals in its online shop. Among other things, there will be e-bikes again, such as the Stack Sport E-SUV Bike from the manufacturer Prophete.
What is an SUV bike? These are bikes that can handle all kinds of terrain. They usually have a suspension fork to make off-road rides on field or forest paths more comfortable.
The Prophete model has 29-inch tires, mudguards, pannier racks and an adjustable handlebar stem. The Suntour suspension fork offers 100 millimeters of travel, so even rougher passages are no problem.
Motor power and battery capacity in the middle range
The rear motor provides a support force of 40 Newton meters. This is more than sufficient for flat regions, but can be a little low on steep climbs. The battery capacity is mid-range at 418 watt hours, and according to the manufacturer, this gives you a range of up to 120 kilometers.
The price-performance ratio of the e-bike is good, even if the motor power and battery size are mediocre. In return, there is a solid suspension fork, Shimano gears and hydraulic disc brakes.

The E-SUV bike from Prophete is available at Aldi for 999 dollars. The recommended retail price is 1,800 dollars. This model is not currently offered by other retailers.
