If you’re having trouble playing Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, a newly updated mod should help you out.
To the surprise of many, Elden Ring’s first and only DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree, is actually pretty hard. So hard, in fact, that many players left negative reviews for the expansion on Steam – though that was also partially attributed to performance issues. Even with the DLC being so difficult, you might still want to check out all it has to offer. After all, this is a beautiful game, and while the story can be a little cryptic, there’s still a story to be discovered, and actually playing some of the game is more fun than just watching it. Luckily for players playing the game on PC, there’s a cheat mode that lets you tweak different parts of the game to your heart’s content.

The mod in question is called Syyke’s All In One Cheat Version, made by the modder of the same name, and was updated last weekend to work with the latest version of the game, 1.12, which means it now supports DLCs. There is a problem, though, as some of the cheats make it easy to access all of the game’s items, even though those items haven’t been implemented with the new DLC items yet – the update was mainly to make it work with the latest patch.
This also sounds like a useful mod with a lot of coverage. You can upgrade weapons and spirits without using any items, blocking attacks doesn’t cost stamina so you can block forever, there’s a rune modifier where you can restore runes from anywhere, and there’s even an option to have your HP regenerate over time. The mod page details the cheats available, but if you don’t like the difficulty, this seems like your best bet for getting through the DLC.
