Sky of Tides was reviewed at Summer Game Fest with more information and a new trailer:
The avalanche of news, headlines, world premieres and other fireworks sometimes do not allow you to enjoy the party. And this is exactly what is happening with the Summer Game Fest, too many things that require detailed analysis to find interesting things that go, in principle, unnoticed. This is the case of Tidal Sky.
Created by a film and game production studio High Sky Entertainerst, based in Toronto, Sky of Tides is a benchmark for good reviews. Tidal Sky is a science fiction adventure with RPG elements set in a technologically advanced universe on the brink of war. Set on the planet Nume9, the game explores the aftermath of a great calamity that fractured the world, caused oceans to float across the sky, and split the earth into nine distinct planetoids.
Trailer:
The players follow Rin, who must search for his missing father after he disappears under mysterious circumstances and heal the broken planet of Numen. Throughout his journey, Rin encounters a diverse group of characters who present him with decisions that will shape both his and Rin’s futures. God.
“It is a broken, divided and totally unbalanced world. Instead of using what’s been done before, we thought the mechanics should emerge naturally from the motivations of the characters in the story. Players can choose any path they want, but Numen9 is a world that needs balance, and the game rewards it.

Main features of the tidal sky:
- A unique and deep world where oceans float in the sky.
- The player’s choices help shape Rin’s character and destiny.
- 32 different endings based on the player character’s stats.
- An approach to RPGs different from traditional min-maxing. The development team believes this type of anti-RPG approach will appeal to players looking for a different type of experience and those who appreciate when developers innovate with the mechanics to align them with the story.
- Faster than a traditional RPG and more interactive than most visual novels.
- The transmedia IP, which brings together a game and an animated television series in the same world, is unique for an independent studio.
- If players complete the game while maintaining stat balance, they will unlock the TV series “Atla” for free.
Tidal Sky It is scheduled for release this year in Xbox Series, One, PC via Steam and Epic Game Store, PlayStation 4 and 5 and Nintendo Switch.
