How to Get to Rhia’s Finger Ruins

To begin your journey to the Finger Ruins of Rhia, you must first travel to the Cerulean Coast. If you haven’t visited this region yet, here are the basic steps to follow to reach this part of the South Coast:

  • Fast travel to the Site of Grace’Facade of the castle” in the Gravesite plain.
  • Head east into the valley, past the warring trolls and monsters on your right.
  • Follow the cliff to the left, through the poison bog area, and turn left again before the large Miranda Sprout.
  • Follow the road and go through a cave guarded by another Miranda Sprout.
  • Here you will find a revered Spiritual Ash and the Site of Grace.Ellac River Cave‘.
  • Continue through the cave and head left onto Waterfall Road. You’ll need Torrent to help you with some of the big jumps here.
  • Continue south down the waterfall until you reach the grace site.Ellac River downstream‘.
  • Continue through the ravine, following the river and staying out of sight of the large Furnace Golem patrolling the area.
  • At the end of the river (before it turns into another huge waterfall), you will see a route going up to the southwest. This is the entrance to the Cerulean Coast.

From the site of grace’Cerulean Coast‘, head south across the field. It may seem empty, but we were surprised by a Ghostflame dragon in this area, which came down from the sky and hit us in the back of the head. You can stay and fight him to claim a Dark Ancient Dragonsmithing Stone if you feel like it, but you can also keep running/riding south and escape if you want to get to Rhia’s Finger Ruins the fastest possible.

Continue south, past the South Coast Map Fragment Stele, then southeast toward the location of the Cross of Miquella at the Grace Site.Cerulean Coast Cross‘.

Just before you reach the Cross of Miquella, turn left towards four large tombstones on the cliff. You’ll now head north, and just before the large stone coffin jutting out of the landscape, you’ll want to hang right and start heading down the slope in front of you.

Continue downward and you will eventually come to a sandy beach with large enemies that look like spiders. You can stay and fight them if you want, but you can also continue your way along the shore.

Follow the shore to the east (and watch out for spider hands lurking under the sand that will bite you if you run over their shark-mouth nails that pierce the sand). You will eventually reach an area with another large stone coffin ship that has been sunk into the ground. Turn left here and go up it.

The Finger Ruins of Rhia lie just beyond, atop the coffin ship. Activate the Grace’ SiteRuins of Rhia‘ and you are ready to start exploring it.

Where to find the +1 Purple Seed Talisman

The main item you can obtain while exploring Rhia’s Finger Ruins is the Talisman of Purple Seeds +1. This “greatly improves the HP restoration of your Flask of Crimson Tears”, and can be found in the central part of the ruins here (where the map icon is):

All you have to do to receive it is to “Ring the Hanging Bell” in the center of the ruins by approaching and interacting with it. And just in case you’re not sure what you’re looking for, here’s the hanging bell you’re looking for:

Where to find the Fingerbearer Cookbook (1)

On the west side of the ruins you will find a separate passage leading up a slope. Follow this passage all around the cliff and you will eventually arrive at a small cabin called the The fingerweaver’s hovel.

Inside you can find yet another type of recipe book: the Finger Weaver Cookbook (1)which allows you to create Glitter Nails. Here is its precise location on the map:

That’s all there is to find in this section of the Rhia’s Finger Ruins, so feel free to head back down to the main ruins once you’re done here.

Where to find the Duplication Coffin of Remembrance

The last thing to know in the Finger Ruins of Rhia is that it is one of the few places where you can duplicate boss memories. There are only three Memory Duplication slots in Shadow of the Erdtree, and each only allows you to duplicate a Memory once, so it’s important to choose wisely!

Here is the precise location of the duplication coffin on the map screen:

It is located near the entrance to the Finger of Rhia Ruins, on a raised cliff in the southeast corner. The stone coffin is just at the end of this small section of cliff.

That’s it for Rhia’s Finger Ruins. You can now continue your journey through the southern shore of Shadow of the Erdtree.
