Mortal Kombat 1

Following last September’s datamine, another update has surfaced regarding a new batch of DLC characters that may be on the way for Mortal Kombat 1 .

Although there has been no official announcement of a second Kombat Pack, according to a dataminer known as ‘interloco’ on social networkssix more characters, two new arenas and five new announcers are apparently on the way for the game.

Possible spoilers ahead:

This list includes three Mortal Kombat characters and three other guest fighters. Ghostface from the Scream series has already been presumably teased by Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon, and some of the others have appeared in a previous datamine:

  • Cyrax
  • Sector
  • Noob Saibot
  • Ghostface
  • Conan the Barbarian
  • T-1000

Although there was no official announcement, last December Ed Boon mentioned that a “second part” of Mortal Kombat 1 would be released with more story and some big surprises.

Right now, the first Kombat Pack is still awaiting the arrival of Takeda Takahashi. Early Access for this character will begin on July 23, 2024 and will now also arrive alongside Kameo Fighter Ferro, which experienced a slight delay.
