- Open the app Settings in your iPhone.
- Then access the section Bluetooth.
- Push the button (I) of your AirPods.
- Check your firmware version number.
If the number matches the firmware version code we detailed earlier, it means your AirPods have been successfully updated. Remember, AirPods Pro 2 have version 6.5.8 (6F8) and the rest of the models are updated to version 6A326. Except for the first generation AirPods, which have firmware version 6.8.8.
