Following the release of Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble on Nintendo Switch, a fan, Dr. Tom Tilley, has created An innovative way to play using a real ball. Inspired by the Super Monkey Ball Ticket Blitz arcade trackball, Tilley has used a controller using a mouse trackball and roll-on deodorant balls, offering an immersive and unique experience.
The structure includes a 3D printed figure from AiAi It reacts to movements, which is impressive to see in action. Tilley has also used this controller in games like Katamari Damacy and hopes to adapt it so that AiAi’s legs work while rolling the ball. We leave you with the video:
