News culture Can the Boys series and the MCU movies coexist? The answer is yes, this user’s montage works perfectly
Some will say that superheroes are no longer so fashionable, others will tell them that The Boys is here to prove otherwise. Also, an Internet user has imagined what a collaboration with the MCU could look like…
A season 4 that excites everyone
It’s been a few weeks since the fourth season of The Boys began, and as expected, it’s still a great show. Our group of antiheroes is back with even more ferocity and ingenuity: this time we can count on the presence of a new character, played by the great Jeffrey Dean-Morgan, with a plot that has already left everyone on the edge of their seats.
Episode 4 even garnered a lot of attention for the appearance of Antony Starr, aka the Protector, who is becoming increasingly comfortable in the costume of one of the most deliciously hideous people in pop culture… Wouldn’t “The Boys” be one of the last hopes of the superhero genre in cinema, given an MCU that is a bit out of breath?
A fictional crossover that seduces
The Internet is a place of limitless creativity and for some, an opportunity to offer really successful montages. Here, The YouTube channel Alternative Cuts enjoyed mixing the legendary Marvel Cinematic Universe with the world of The Boys. After all, both feature superheroes: Let’s just say that the Prime Video series is a bit… rougher.
In this fake trailer, we can then see Iron Man (accidentally) exploding Pepper’s head, Butcher and Jack crossing Dr. Strange’s interdimensional portals, or see Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man removes a needle from his arm… before attempting to save children under the influence of a strange substance. In short, The Boys, Marvel style.
We remind you that there are still a few episodes left until the end of the fourth season of The Boys. Since we are talking about the MCU, Deadpool & Wolverine will hit theaters on July 24, 2024 and will enjoy opening the doors to the multiverse more than ever with the return of Deadpool and the X-Men. Then don’t forget about the DC Universe reboot, as filming on the All-New Superman is currently in full swing. To be continued…
