These are the latest additions to the immersive and ever-improving Microsoft Flight Simulator World experience!

Washington, DC (District of Columbia) is the capital of the United States and home to several nationally known museums, monuments, and works of architecture. DC is located 30 miles west of the Chesapeake Bay and is bordered by Maryland to the west, north, and east and Virginia to the south along the Potomac River. Washington DC features some of the world’s most famous landmarks, significant for their history and architectural beauty, including the United States Capitol, the Lincoln Memorial, and the National Mall.

The update covers several locations around Washington, DC, including the cities of Gainesville, Bristow, Stafford and Fairfax in Virginia, and the cities of Frederick and Annapolis in Maryland, home of the United States Naval Academy.

Buffalo is located in western New York State on the shores of Lake Erie, one of the Great Lakes. It is the second largest city in the state after the New York City metropolitan area. Buffalo traces its roots to grain transportation through the Erie Canal and today enjoys a thriving economy with several flourishing industries, including automotive, healthcare and technology. Spectacular sights in Buffalo include the Peace Bridge, the Rand Building and the Seneca One Tower.

Allentown is located in the Lehigh Valley of eastern Pennsylvania, at the foot of the Appalachian Mountains and 75 miles west of New York City. Originally settled in 1751 and founded in 1762, Allentown is one of the oldest cities in the United States and is now the third-largest metropolitan area in Pennsylvania. Allentown, including its suburbs such as Whitehall, offers a wide range of historic and modern attractions such as the city center, Coca-Cola Park and the Malcolm Gross Rose Garden.

The East End of Long Island, about 80 miles east of New York City, is home to the Hamptons, a well-known seaside resort area that includes the village of Southampton. Founded in 1640, Southampton is one of the oldest settlements in the United States. Rich in history and colonial architecture, Southampton and the surrounding East End towns offer views of expansive beaches, small coves, and patchwork farmland.
