Apple TV+’s new premiere was a resounding hit with viewers
We have recently seen great developments in the Apple streaming services platform. A few weeks ago we found out that the new season of “Ted Lasso” might be closer than we thought and apparently it won’t be the only one. The release date of the fourth season of “Slow Horses” has also been confirmed.
Additionally, July will bring many premieres on Apple TV+ and one of them could become the best Apple production in history. This new Apple TV+ movie has the highest rating ever on Rotten Tomatoessurpassing other major successes on the platform.
So far, the three Apple TV+ movies with the best reviews on Rotten Tomatoes were ‘CODA’winner of three Oscars; “The Moon Killers”starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro; and “The Tragedy of Macbeth”with Denzel Washington at the helm.
This is the highest rated Apple TV+ movie on Rotten Tomatoes
Rotten Tomatoes is the industry’s largest review platform and is a great measuring tool when it comes to finding out the quality of the latest series, films or documentaries.
While Apple TV+ movies like “CODA” have received a 94% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the new film ‘Fancy dance’ received, nothing more and nothing less, than an assessment of the 96% among the spectators.
“Fancy Dance” is a film that follows the story of a young Native American girl named Jax, who must take care of her niece Roki after the girl’s mother goes missing. The film’s story focuses on her struggle to keep her family together on the reservation, facing both financial problems and custody issues. In trying to find Roki’s mother, Jax and her niece embark on a difficult journey, where the importance of family, Native American culture, and traditions play a crucial role in their daily lives and futures.
The cast of “Fancy Dance” is composed of Lily Gladstone, Isabel Deroy-Olson, Ryan Begay, Shea Whigham, Audrey Wasilewski and Blake Brown.
The Apple TV+ film is directed by Erica Tremblay in her narrative directorial debut. Its screenplay is written by Tremblay herself and Miciana Alise. “Fancy Dance” was produced by Erica Tremblay, Heather Rae, Nina Yang Bongiovi and Tommy Oliver.
Just because “Fancy Dance” received the highest rating in Apple TV+ history doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the best movie on the platform. However, it’s worth keeping in mind that if the reviews for the production are so positive, it means it’s a movie worth considering. While not all viewers have the same tastes, if you’re into drama, you should definitely give “Fancy Dance” a chance.
