Wow, what graphics! In fact, caution is advised with the first trailer for the Dark Messiah-like action game Alkahest. It looks too good! The Cypriot indie developer Push On is made up of 42 employees and takes big names as its role models: Dark Messiah of Might and Magic and Dishonored, for example. But also The Witcher 3 and Kingdom Come. There are supposed to be elements of these in Alkahest; in the trailer you can see sword and shield combat, a bow, magic spells and scripted chases, among other things. In Alkahest you are also supposed to mix potions and explosive reagents and, within certain limits, fight your own way through the levels (no open world). The fantasy action game has been in development since 2023, and there is currently no release date.
