BioWare recently confirmed that Dragon Age: The Veilguard will have a complex character editor. Aside from that, there will be numerous other customization options.
Game Director Corinne Busche announced this in a Interview with Game Informer According to this, they are working on a transmog system, among other things. In the role-playing game, the equipment can be visually customized as desired without changing the values and attributes of the item.
The transmodifications should not only be able to be applied to the equipment of protagonist Rook, but also to all other group members.
Apart from that, BioWare announced that they will be offering players numerous equipment options. Each character can carry a weapon, a ring and an accessory.
Rook will also receive additional equipment slots. The protagonist can use two weapons, two rings, a helmet, an amulet and a belt. It is further explained that each item can have unique effects and influence various character values. The belt, for example, determines the effectiveness of healing potions.
In addition, there will be special equipment items that only certain characters and classes can use. Players can take a first look at these special pieces of armor when creating their character. If you are not happy with the look of the character, you can adjust it again in advance in the editor.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard is scheduled to be released this fall for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. BioWare has not yet announced a specific release date.
