Star Wars Jedi Survivor was in every way a masterful sequel to the very solid Fallen Order. Especially on a visual level, as this video beautifully illustrates.
Despite being developed on Unreal Engine 4, Respawn’s title shined visually. Unfortunately, on a technical level, it’s a different story. Despite being released last year, it still has some performance issues. With several mods, it gives us a terrific graphical slap in the face, as we can see in this video.
A Force Strike from Star Wars Jedi Survivor
The YouTube channel Beyond Dreams takes us beautifully to the galaxy far, far away, depicted in Star Wars Jedi Survivor. Thanks to various mods such as Ultra+, the graphics buttons can be pushed to their limits or even to their limits Complete RT shader Which allows you to add reflections through ray tracing and other modern visual effects, the title literally shines with a thousand stars. This explosive cocktail allows us to enjoy the sights in 8K.
However, despite numerous patches in this direction, these graphical capabilities do not solve Star Wars Jedi Survivor’s performance problems, so Beyond Dreams recommends a truly monstrous configuration to take full advantage of it. Rely on an RTX 4090 graphics card, an Intel 14700K processor, 32 GB of DDR5 RAM and a fast SSD.
All in all, this is enough to make us dream of a sequel to Jedi Survivor, a priori still in development in the Respawn workshops. Despite numerous layoffs behind the scenes at Electronic Arts, the publisher did not want to give up this extremely promising license, managed with the hand of a Jedi Master by a talented studio. All that remains is faith in the Force and in Respawn’s ability to put stars in our eyes again in the company of Cal Kestis and BD-1. Let’s hope, however, that the sequel is better optimized for its own sake. We are also following with interest Outlaws, the action/adventure game set in the Star Wars universe developed by Ubisoft Massive, expected on August 30 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
