One of our favorite games from last year is making the jump to a new console. Prolific studio Strange Scaffold announced that the intriguing El Paso, Elsewhere It will be coming soon to PS5 and will have a physical edition with some very interesting extras.
In case you don’t know, this is a third-person action indie game that came out for PC and Xbox consoles in September 2023. Its gameplay is heavily inspired by the first two games of Max Payneeven features “bullet time.” Its graphics are also reminiscent of the PlayStation 2 era.

In El Paso, Elsewhere We control James Savage, a drug-addicted monster hunter who has one last mission: eliminate his ex-girlfriend, the vampire Draculea, before she destroys the world. To do this, we must travel through the abyss facing hordes of vampires, werewolves, fallen angels and rescuing hostages. During the development of the game, we learn more about the protagonist and the toxic relationship he had with the villain.
The PS5 version of El Paso, Elsewhere It doesn’t have a release date yet, but it should go on sale this year.The physical edition will include a poster and a download code for the game’s excellent hip hop soundtrack.
There is no news yet on whether there will also be a physical version for Xbox and PC.
