Paradox Interactive simulator delayed again on consoles, and this time, indefinitely
Cities Skylines 2 seemed to be one of Paradox Interactive’s flagship products, but its launch is proving to be somewhat tortuous. The title launched last year on PC had countless bugs and problems that the developer is trying to solve little by little. As if that were not enough, the video game (which will arrive on Xbox Game Pass on the 1st) has been delayed numerous times in its Series X / S version. The last delay was made official in April and set the release date for October of this year. But once again, the city building simulator is delayed again, now indefinitely..
According to the developer, there are still many issues regarding the title’s performance and stability, affecting the player’s experience. Paradox Interactive acknowledges that this is somewhat disappointing, but they are working hard to deliver the best gaming experience. The video game will be reviewed in August, in which they hope to give an estimated release date.
Cities Skylines 2 is a sequel to the 2017 city-building title and aims to expand on every aspect of that game.. We can create a completely realistic city there, controlling and influencing the economy, the well-being of citizens, the infrastructure or the road network.
