The closed beta for Age of Mythology: Retold will take place in the coming days.
Age of Mythology: Retold is a remake of the 2002 classic. Before the game launches on PC and Xbox Series X|S on September 4, the new edition will go into closed beta on July 12 at 11 a.m. Pacific Time (8 p.m. our time).
This runs until July 14th at 11:59 a.m. Pacific Time (9:00 a.m. our time) and offers beta players access to the tutorial, three pantheons (Greek, Nordic and Egyptian) and the first five missions of the Fall of the Trident campaign.
The purpose of the closed beta is to optimize the systems, eliminate bugs and collect feedback. Aside from the beta, a stress test on Stream is planned at a later date, for which no pre-orders will be necessary. Information on this will follow.
