At this point, one could consider the existence of a new genre called ‘Genshinlike’: free open-world RPG games with ‘anime’ style characters that are obtained through ‘gacha’ mechanics. The Chinese developer Hotta Studio, known for Tower of Fantasyannounced its new game Neverness to Everness o NTE.

This title aims to differentiate itself from other games of the same genre through its urban world and driving mechanics. The story puts us in control of a group of characters with special ‘Esper’ abilities who are in charge of solving mysteries and eliminating the dangers that arise in a city called Hethereau, where the inhabitants coexist with anomalies.
During its announcement, Hotta Studio stressed that it took full advantage of the capabilities of Unreal Engine 5 and NVIDIA DLSS technology to create a graphically impressive city. It actually looks pretty good so far.

As you can see, the gameplay and character design is reminiscent not only of Tower of Fantasy, but of Hoyoverse games like Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail y Zenless Zone Zero.
When does it come out NTE Neverness to Everness and for which platforms?
Hotta Studios and publisher Perfect World Games did not reveal details about the game’s release date, but did confirm that it will be released for iOS and Android mobile phones and devices, PCs, and the PS5 console.
