“House of the Dragon” Season 2 is in full swing. Netzwelt lists the 7 most powerful dragons that support their riders in the “Dance of the Dragons”.

The second season of the successful prequel series “House of the Dragon” is in full swing and brings us the gripping story of the “Dance of the Dragons”. As we are used to from the parent series “Game of Thrones”, the protagonists are supported in battles by their magnificent dragons.

In the battle between the Green and Black factions, the dragons provide an immense advantage. We already know some of them from the book, others appear on the big screen for the first time. Netzwelt lists the 7 strongest dragons in “House of the Dragon”.

7. Seerauch

Seasmoke is a young and agile dragon and the first dragon to belong exclusively to House Velaryon. After Laenor Velaryon (John MacMillan) mysteriously goes into exile and fakes his death, Seasmoke remains riderless for many decades.

During the battle for the Stepstones, he not only helped Laenor Belaryon win the battle, but also helped an injured Daemon (Matt Smith) escape. Seasmoke will soon have a new rider!

6. Sunfire

According to Archmaester Gyldayn, Sunfyre is the most magnificent and beautiful dragon that has ever flown over Westeros. 2. Vermithor

Vermithor is the second oldest and second most powerful dragon in “House of the Dragon” and is considered to be particularly temperamental. Only a few dragons can match him in terms of strength.

After the death of his rider, King Jaehaerys I Targaryen, the “Bronze Fury” lives without a master together with his dragoness Silverwing in a cave in the Dragon Mountain on Dragonstone, the fortress of Rhaenyra. Vermithor will soon find a new rider too!

1. Vhagar

Vhagar is the largest and most impressive dragon in existence. Even her rider Aemond (Ewan Mitchell) is not fully able to control her. The “Queen of all Dragons” is also the last remaining dragon from the days of Aegon I Targaryen’s conquest of Westeros.
