The open-world racing game Forza Horizon 5 continues to attract more and more players. In fact, the Playground Games title recently achieved an impressive record. It must be admitted that the game is clearly not ahead of the game given its quality. Here’s what we can learn about the great success of this racing game.
Forza reaches new record
According to the in-game player counter shared by Snap Blast PLAY on Twitter, Forza Horizon 5 recently hit an impressive milestone of 40 million players. This new figure comes just months after surpassing the 37 million mark last February. Although this figure does not directly reflect the number of copies sold, it speaks to the undeniable success of Forza Horizon 5 for Microsoft.
Upon release, the game attracted over three million players on its first day, setting a record for an Xbox Game Studios title, and managed to reach 10 million players in just one week. Meanwhile, Playground Games is preparing for the retirement of Forza Horizon 4, scheduled for December, but this has not affected the growing popularity of Forza Horizon 5. The game continues to receive regular updates that enrich the gaming experience. Recent additions include the introduction of the Horizon Wave radio station, which offers 21 new songs with a dedicated DJ, as well as the Neon Highway mode, which adds to the game’s retro atmosphere.
In addition to these updates, the development team is also working on another highly anticipated project: Fable. However, the excitement for Forza Horizon 5 continues and players can expect new improvements and additional content in the coming months.
