As soon as you install it, either from its GitHub repository or from the alternative F-Droid store, you find an interface that could come from Google itself: Material you design, floating buttons, accent colors… Visually it is very beautiful, which also allows for very intuitive operation.
Other than that, it behaves like other note apps, without complicating this action at all. Do we want to create a new note? The bottom floating button puts it on a plate for us. Then, in a simple (but complete) editor, we can create notes with the Markdown formatwhich allows you to add bold, italics, text quotation marks and even underlining.
This editor is divided into two parts: on the one hand, the editing tool, where we will write the notes, and on the other, the note preview, which will show us the result. It is worth mentioning that the boxes that we can mark with a simple touch could not be missing, otherwise it could not be called a notes application.
In its settings we find a wide list of customization optionsbeing able to activate the minimalist mode that eliminates the buttons from the editing screen, in addition to changing the visual appearance, with accent colors that follow those established in the system or on the contrary customized by the user: it has a dark mode, even a dark mode for AMOLED screens that changes grays into pure blacks.
The radius of the interface elements can also be modified, obtaining more or less rounded edges, as we wish. Also from the Easy Notes configuration we obtain a backup copy from our notes, very useful if we change smartphones or factory reset them.
It is possible to encrypt the notes database with a password, to prevent any other user from invading our confidentiality. Its developer offers constant updates, as well as an equally important fact: the application does not ask for a single permission, so it remains private.
How can we install it on our Android mobile? The first thing will be to enable the unknown sources option so that the system allows us to install the APK files. Then, simply download it from the GitHub repository or from F-Droid.
