We have already reported about it: Mount & Blade 2: Banner lord actually comes earlier than expected. On March 30, 2020, i.e. on Monday, you can start with the early access version of the medieval sandbox. Now we know thanks to a press release the exact start time!
Around 11 a.m the fun should start. Then you can start the download and get started with Mount & Blade 2. By the way, owners of an older Mount & Blade receive a permanent 10 percent discount on the 50 euro early access version of Bannerlord. In the first two weeks after release, there is also a 10 percent discount for all players.
It is of course quite possible that the servers will experience problems at the launch at 11 a.m. But since the developers have deliberately moved the release forward, we do not expect a long-lasting tumult around the server start. If, by the way, you want to know what's in the early access version, here is the summary again:
- The complete single player campaign.
- Custom battles with which you can create your own battles as a quick play and then play them.
- Multiplayer mode with four modes: Skirmish, Captain, Team Deathmatch and Siege. Anyone who has played the previous beta knows roughly what to expect.
However, anticipates bugs and balancing problems. As usual with early access versions, the developers will still have to smooth out many waves. The version we played for our big Plus Preview was already running pretty well.
