THE Auriza’s Side Tomb in Elden Ring is a place on the Altus Plateau.
The side tomb frequently teleports you back and forth, with plenty of Elden Ring enemies lurking in the darkness to quickly end your adventure.

Elden Ring Auriza Side Tomb Walkthrough
It is located northeast of the Royal Capital Leyndell if you follow the path from Grace’s site “Outer Wall – Battleground” to the east. The Hero’s Tomb of Auriza is also nearby.
Activate the Grace Site “Auriza Side Tomb” in the first room and you’re off.
The Side Crypt feels like an artificial dungeon, having you jump back and forth between different transport traps and changing the layout of its rooms.
Go through the first hallway, turn right before the boss door and kill the small living ships. Collect 1x Tomb Glove (6) and now you have two paths from here:
- Follow the passage northeast to the first transport trap, which will take you to the “starting room” of Area A.
- Jump northwest through the window and you will land in the same area.
Take the stairs to the northwest and look around under the stairs, where there is 1x Tomb Glove (6)but also an enemy who decided to protect the plant at the risk of his life.
Follow the path southwest, choose 1x Tomb Glove (5) next to the exit and you will reach a flooded area behind it.
Be careful that the enemy on the upper platform can’t hit you with his flash bombs. Continue into the small adjacent chapel.
There are two ways to continue here:
- The teleporter trap at the end of the room.
- Behind the illusory wall in the alcove on the left side of the room.
First take the crate at the end of the chapel and you will find yourself in a room behind bars with two large living containers. Here you will find the Perfumer’s Cookbook 3 And 2x Cracked Pot.
The only way back is through the crate that brought you here. In the small chapel, hit the wall of the alcove to make it disappear.
Follow the passage that appears, but be very careful, because two explosive ships will come towards you. 1x Tomb Glove (5) and use the teleportation crate.
You will land on a ledge. Knock down the goblin, take 1x Golden Rune (7) of the corpse and follow the stairs northwest.
You will find yourself in a room that looks familiar, but has changed a bit (the lever is gone). Run down and back north/northeast, up the stairs.
You will find yourself in a room with a large ship sitting guarding 1x Ritual Potnext to which there is 2x Root resinBe careful: a small enemy is hiding behind the corner on the right and blows himself up.
Then head back through the flooded area and enter the chapel, where you will follow the left passage behind the exposed wall again. Use the chest again and you will find yourself on the ledge with the two enemies.
This time you will reach a ladder at the end of the hallway that leads to another crate. Use it and follow the single hallway to a room with a large container behind the corner on the right.
Kill him and you will find another ritual pot; there is 1x Forge Stone (5) near the corpse. Return to the previous room and jump out the left window.
After landing, return to the chapel and use the teleport crate at the end of the room (which led to the barred area with two large ships earlier).
He does it again, but this time they are small pots and you will find a ladder here. 1x Ghent Ghost (6) And 2x Cracked Pot and climb the ladder.
How to Beat Auriza’s Side Tomb Guardian Duelist in Elden Ring
If you wish, you can first take out the small ships next to the Tomb Guardian Duelist, but they shouldn’t be particularly dangerous.
We are then faced with an opponent that we have already encountered many times and who should no longer be a major obstacle.
We know this guy as a leader of the Murkwater Catacombs in Limgrave among other places.
This one has nothing new to offer and shouldn’t cause us any major problems.
Your rewards for defeating this boss are 15,000 runes and the Makeshift ash pots sold.
