State of Decay 2’s #SummerOfSurvival – New update benefits the American Red Cross

In the coming months, the blood supply is critically low, but the need for blood doesn’t take a summer break. That’s why Undead Labs has partnered with the American Red Cross to ask you to sign up to donate blood by via our custom portaland we encourage you to donate with new game content and other ways to get involved. A strong community is the best defense against hordes of undead. Update 37: A light in the darknessnow available, introduces recruitable survivors with new blood donor and paramedic traits that improve aspects such as morale, recovery, and cardiovascular. You’ll encounter these survivors when you accept a mission to help a new enclave rescue seriously injured members of their community.

Along the way, you’ll unlock new cosmetic items like the Zombie Nurse T-Shirt and Blood Donor Jacket. Save the Enclave and look good doing it.

As part of our first partnership with the Red Cross, we introduced the Bloodmobile, a limited-time in-game vehicle covered in blood and equipped with lights and sirens. The Bloodmobile was a surprise hit with players and returns in this update with improved trunk space, increasing from 9 to 15 spaces. Perfect for saving the day, whether it’s hauling supplies or helping a friend in need.

We’ve also permanently unlocked the Bloodmobile for your driving pleasure! It’s not just back, it’s here to stay!

At the heart of this new content is the real and ever-present need of people like you and me to donate blood.

Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood. It is essential for surgeries, cancer treatments, chronic illnesses, and traumatic injuries. Blood cannot be manufactured or stored. Whether a patient receives whole blood, red blood cells, platelets, or plasma, this life-saving treatment begins with a person who makes a generous donation.
