Xiaomi reduces new phone price: There is also a gift on top

Xiaomi is giving its mid-range phone Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G a new coat of paint. Until now, the model was only available in Germany in the colors Midnight Black, Ocean Teal and Aurora Purple, but now “Olive Green” is also available as a color. In this variant, the smartphone has a glossy back, according to Xiaomi.

Sales of the new color variant start on July 29th at 10 a.m. Pre-orders are already possible on Mi.com for a deposit of 1 euro. And it can be worth it. Because Xiaomi has put together a launch offer for loyal fans.

Anyone who pays 1 euro for the pre-order by 9:59 a.m. on July 29th will receive an 80 euro discount. Then the phone will only cost 319.90 dollars instead of the RRP of 399.99 dollars. During the promotional period, the Redmi Buds 5 worth 39.90 dollars (RRP) will also be included free of charge – but only while stocks last.

If you include the headphones, you only pay just under 270 dollars for the phone. That’s how much is currently being charged online for the color variants that have been available since January. In our test, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G impressed with its 200-megapixel camera, which delivers good images both day and night – the latter in particular is not a given in this price range, nor is the smartphone’s eSIM support.

We also liked the display with its high resolution. However, the battery life and performance are only mediocre.
