Elden Ring Dragonbarrow Cave Tour
Dragonbarrow Cave is located northeast of Faroth Fortress and east of the Dragon Mountain Fork. Here is its location on the map:
The cave is the home of a killer bear, there is no other way to describe this beast. You can try to sneak through the tall grass and outrun it.
If you make it to the end of the left cave passage, you will find the Bull-Goat Talisman in a dead end near some wildlife. Now go back and run past the bear, although it’s more likely that it will just kill you.
The bear is not important at all, but the passage to the right behind some bushes. Collect the Golden Rune (12) And Hot stone corpses and tomb.
There is crystal moss on the path. The lower part of the cave has been claimed by a few wolves, including a white one (very strong).
There is 3x Beast Blood And 1x Golden Rune (8) between the corpses. In the passage behind them, you have to go back down and land directly in the boss arena.
How to Defeat Farum Azula’s Dragonbarrow Cave Beastman (Duo) in Elden Ring
Farum Azula’s Beastmen are a familiar enemy type from Groveside Cave in Limgrave. They are one of the first bosses in the game, here they appear in a double pack.
After falling into the cave, you can sneak into the tall grass and hit one of the two beastmen with a backstab.
The other will notice this immediately and rush at you or throw his knives at you. Usually, this is the crux of the fight: the knives and their ridiculously long reach.
Neither of them would be a difficult boss to face, but the interaction has a huge potential to become annoying. As long as both are still alive, the goal is to land short, sharp attacks. One hit and they disappear again.
If you want a more level playing field, you can use a Spirit Summon after dropping them off to distract at least one of the Beastmen and work on the other undisturbed.
Their posture can be broken with just a few hits, and they can be surrounded and attacked with a stab in the back. The damage dealt is significantly higher than their distant cousin in the Grove Cave, but they are not the most robust.
Once one of them is gone and the other is alone, the fight is much easier. Their animations and attack chains aren’t particularly complex.
Your rewards for defeating the duo are 65,000 runes And Flame Dragon Talisman +2.
