Developed by Omega Force, the Koei Tecmo Games section and published by Bandai Namco, who gave us a copy, comes One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4, the latest installment based on the universe of the Shonen Jump One Piece series..
This article lets you recount the history of One Piece from the beginning. If you don't know what type «musou», let me tell you that it is basically the style of the game you are facing when facing large groups of enemies on a large scale participating in epic battles, in this case the most interesting and bright anime moments. Also, the development tells the Japanese Omega Force that with enough information in this game, it adds new features, characters, demolitions and excellent story lines.
One Piece: Pirate Warors 4 reveals a large number of characters to choose from (over 40!) Where many will be unlocked as we continue the story. The game is highly revamped, featuring new One Piece anime stories (including Whole Cake Island). I mostly won't make comparisons to the previous program because I haven't played it but I'll give my opinion on its gameplay and experience, the important thing is it's fun, right?
Gameplay
The first thing we find on the menu is Awesome Recording, that is, the main story mode that follows the timeline of the anime series and how we come together Luffy, the biggest star of One Piece, however we can pick some characters depending on the mission.
As soon as we start the action, it doesn't take long, or we have a lesson in understanding a bit of the art of the game, you are actually learning about the power of beating and crowds of enemies flying through the air. The combos are super powerful and the combination is really effective that produces that addictive ingredient needed to continue the fight, boy is it fun!
Plus we break down all the environment around us, whether it's buildings, shops, vegetables, whatever comes to mind. Destruction is complete and as we gain power and roll out more accurate combos it becomes more interesting. According to Bandai Namco, in a lively record some of the works have been added to previous programs and not only that,e can play in pairs or up to 4 online.
Anything your favorite character can use and spend huge crowds, even fighting from the air or turning it into a titan, where you get a huge crush on enemies in one go.
Fighting can be recurring, coincidentally facing the same thing, maintaining another character, or attacking certain enemies scattered across the length and breadth of the map. However, I reiterate that the beats and combos we treat are addictive where the difficulty lies in killing the "bosses," who are really tough. On the other hand, special attacks are so good, yes, you have to fight without mercy so that your barrier can be effective again.
As we move forward and open the characters, we have them Free Registration when historical times can be reproduced differently. And if that's not enough, Financial Registration performing other specific tasks including management, more action and information, which will help us later develop characters.
On the menu we have the "Gallery" option, a way to combine all One Piece events into one place. If you want to see cinemas, listen to music, see pictures and more, you must enter here.
Its gameplay is so much fun, fast movement, beat, money, news and above all its beloved characters. All this setup guarantees hours and hours of entertainment. Undoubtedly in this case the "musou" format is firmly attached, drawing the best battles!
Tip in case the gamepad doesn't work on Steam
To play in all its splendor, it is recommended to have your favorite gamepad or game controller interactive on PC. Keyboard and mouse are not recommended. Now, if you're having trouble activating this device, Steam should do the following:
Go to your library, then right-click on One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 game and select Properties.
Below, when the Steam Input Perting Game is installed, change it to "Forced". This way the gamepad will be enforced by default (in our case of the Xbox 360). Ah yes, you're welcome.
Drawings
Well, it's not a game that needs to be over or played at 60 fps with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 with details at "high" we need to fulfill the minimum requirements described below. Our GeForce GTX 1070 exhibits smooth, smooth, full smile as expected. If you have problems loading or are experiencing some type of slow motion, it may be best to migrate to SSD as it will completely improve this feature.
Recommended PC Requirements
- OS: Windows 10, 64bits
- Processor: Intel Core i7 3770 / AMD Ryzen 5 1400
- Memory: 8 GB of RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (3GB) / AMD Radeon RX 580 (4GB)
- DirectX: Version 11
- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Storage: 25 GB of available space
In the paintings I must admit the high level of art and great similarity he has with the One Piece series. In that respect there is no dialogue, it completely fulfills its mission. The demolition of the sections is well done and the detail maintains its proper quality. In short, good work has been done.
Music / Audio
I am so engrossed in the action and gameplay that I almost forgot about the music. Is this good or bad? Well let's just say it's not as good as the music at critical times is where it should be loud and sometimes memorable. Aside from its great (overall) theme I couldn't find a sweet spot where it says "wow, how does the music fit". It really works but it goes unnoticed, but otherwise its Japanese voice and dialogue, it's amazing and if you want it all invented, you'll be caught, as in anime.
Conclusion
I ask for a glorious fight! The gameplay is undoubtedly the best of the game, keeping you bound to complete each mission and move your fists, kicks and weapons against a large number of enemies. The idea of being able to use capital letters is appealing and limiting the One Piece anime between games and cinematics is quite glorious.
With a rival Luffy we will have a lot of equipment to fill, but my favorites are Sanji and Nami, who by their special actions have made me addicted to the destruction of everything around me.
In general, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 leaves a very good impression with anime-friendly graphics (nothing familiar), new features, and many hours of entertainment. Dear or not, I know you will.
