On the occasion of Exclusive Atlus ShowcaseSEGA’s Japanese development subsidiary has decided to show new information about its new adventure that is already coming: Metaphor: ReFantazio. More specifically, he was the director Katsura Hashino which introduced the different characters (rivals and allies) who are fighting for real power in the Tournament for the Throne.

Metaphor: ReFantazio locates us there United Kingdom of Europe. This place is experiencing times of crisis after the assassination of its king. But one day, royal magic is invoked, which is known only to the monarch. Then begins a tournament whose prize is the throne of Eucronia. Our protagonist, who also participates, begins his adventure from the bottom of the social ladder. He is a person who no one would expect to become king.
Hashino himself also shared several ways our main character can use to increase his popularity among the people and compete with his powerful and influential rivals. A key part of his journey are the several followers who support him to gain influence. Additionally, Hashino described the social bonds that the protagonist will weave with them. Strengthening them will affect archetypes and improve skills, among other things.
Metaphor: ReFantazio will be available on October 11, 2024 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. Reservations for physical edition and digital edition are now available.
