Season 2 will be released soon, it is confirmed

Squid Game Season 2 is coming soon. Netflix is preparing a big event and it’s happening very, very quickly. Surely something that fans will enjoy.

This is THE big announcement this week regarding Netflix. Squid Game has finally given us a date for the second season and a third season is already planned, with a release window. On December 16, just after Christmas, season 2 of Squid Game will air on Netflix, while we will have to wait until 2025 for season 3. It will be relatively quick. After that, unfortunately, it will be over. It has been confirmed that the third part will actually be the last. At least from the looks of things.

But for now, we all have our eyes on Season 2. After Netflix blew up on its release, Squid Game took off and became a real phenomenon. Reality TV show, IRL (in real life, real life) experience, announced foreign spin-off… it’s a festival.
With season 2, Netflix wants to do it again, but it might be difficult since we’ve lost the element of surprise. But we’ll see. At the moment, we don’t have any information about this sequel, apart from the short trailer that was recently released in which we see participants running through a stadium with one of the henchmen, who explains that the real game can finally begin. We also know that the hero of the first season will be back. But maybe we’ll find out more soon!

Netflix will soon host a big event to tell us about its next big series Wednesday

, Stranger Things or Grave robbers. Squid Game will also be there. In mid-September, Netflix Geeked Week begins with trailers, surprises and lots of new content. It is therefore certain that season 2 of Squid Game will finally show itself with a really big trailer. We hope that this is the opportunity to take a look at new deadly games and maybe learn more about the plot, as we suspect that it will not be about simply sending new candidates to the slaughterhouse. This was also one of the strengths of the first season of Squid Game.
