Plaion and Warhorse Studios apparently have no intention of keeping things simple with Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and are planning a big appearance at Gamescom in a few weeks.
Plaion and Warhorse Studios have clearly set themselves some ambitious goals to properly present Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. Not only were they recently invited to an extensive press event in Kutná Hora, one of the game’s locations, but they also have ambitious plans for Gamescom in Cologne.
Unfortunately, we are not allowed to report on the press event yet, but we can say this much: there was a lot of exciting informati on, opportunities to play the game and much more. But more on that in a few days.
But things are also set to get serious at Gamescom. A new gameplay teaser is set to be presented at the Opening Night Live and maybe, who knows, a concrete release date will finally be announced. The official statement is that the game will be released in 2024 and we are excited to see if that stays the case (okay, we already know more, but we can’t say anything about that yet).
On August 21st, extensive gameplay will be presented for the first time. The gameplay reveal will be 21 minutes long and will give you a first impression of how your friend Henry navigates his way through the Middle Ages. Also on August 21st, the so-called press day, the press will be able to gather their first playable impressions and then we will finally be able to tell you more.
But Gamescom visitors shouldn’t miss out either and will have the opportunity to try out a playable demo of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II in Hall 9. Parallel to the trade fair, there will be more news and information about the game from August 21 to 25. Until then, we’ll continue to work hard on our impressions of the press event in the Czech Republic so that all non-Gamescom visitors can have fun too.
