Find out more details about the post-apocalyptic open-world action RPG Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone.

Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone places the player in a zone that has been completely taken over by the precious, high-energy material called Chernobylite. It has completely transformed the environment and forced people to fight back against it using prototype technologies.

You are one of these people, a Planewalker who travels the worlds in search of this rare resource. Cut off from the world, trapped in the Zone, attacked by hordes of nightmarish creatures, you must fight for survival and unite the few survivors. Fight for supremacy and negotiate with the other factions. The Exclusion Zone is a battlefield that changes every day and reacts to your every action.

Will you find a way to help the others defeat the army of evil monsters? And when old conflicts resurface, whose side will you be on?

Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone – a sequel to Chernobylite – is a post-apocalyptic action RPG that combines free exploration of a huge and extremely realistic open world, challenging combat, unique crafting, team and base management with a non-linear, captivating story.

The original game built a huge and dedicated community, becoming the second most funded Polish video game on Kickstarter (after Superhot), one of the most successful Early Access campaigns on Steam in 2019, and one of the best Steam post-Early Access releases of 2021.

Over the past 5 years, The Farm 51 has continually improved and expanded the world of Chernobylite with numerous free updates and has released the game on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and is currently working on bringing the game to Switch.

Features

Exploring an open world

Explore the large and realistic open world of the real Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. The Chernobylite has taken over the zone and changed many of its elements, and people are trying to fight back using prototype technologies.

Character development

Create and develop your hero. Attributes and skills affect effectiveness in combat, as well as conversation style. An arrogant muscleman with a big sword who tries to intimidate everyone? Or a clever sniper who always finds the right arguments? The choice is yours.

Diverse fights

Fight for survival with an advanced close-combat system or keep your enemies at a distance with a diverse arsenal of firearms. You can also use the stealth approach or ask others for help.

World travel

Adapt your build and equipment to the situation with planewalking, which allows you to change things up during the game. You are free to develop more than one of your character’s skills. Do you come across a situation that you can solve better with your previously prepared heavy melee build than with your current ranged sniper? Planewalk and use another one.

Team building

Embark on the exciting journey of team building. Each of your comrades is a potential teacher, ready to pass on their knowledge and skills. Assemble your team and discover the unique strengths and abilities they bring. The question is: will you earn their trust and unleash their full potential?

Development of the base

Develop your base. There you can create valuable items and improve your weapons every day. Distribute tasks to your people who will take care of your equipment and supplies.

Fractions

Fight for dominance and negotiate with factions. The Exclusion Zone is a battlefield that changes every day and reacts to your every action. Can you help them defeat the army of vicious monsters? And when old conflicts resurface, whose side will you be on?

Cooperative missions

Experience cooperative online missions embedded in a single-player campaign, allowing players to interact in different ways to achieve the objective.
