The most genuine game in any Fallout It is always the first time and unfortunately it is something unrepeatable. We all leave the shelter we are in without knowing what we are going to find and as innocent as if we had really spent the last 100-200 years locked up.
Fallout 4’s wasteland, known as The Commonwealth, is a place filled with violence, evil, and deceit. Bethesda gives no player any quarter. If the first altercation in Concord didn’t make it clear to you that the wasteland is not your friend, perhaps the next one will. Thicket Excavations. It is a location located east of Sanctuary.
There you’ll find an individual named Sully Mathis, who asks if you can drain the water from the quarry during the quest Unplugged. This is a fairly straightforward quest that yields caps from Sully, some Mirelurk combat, and rewards in the form of a magazine, weapons, and more.
Most players return to Sully, collect their payment, and continue on their way, unaware that they have just helped a real psychopath. One of the mobile huts in the quarry has a terminal that reveals that this man is a raider and that the quarry is a perfect strategic point for raiding merchant caravans.
If you return to the Thicket Excavations After 24-48 hours, you’ll see the result of your act of kindness: the raiders have taken over the quarry, breeding Murelirks and piling up corpses, and Sully Mathis shows his true colors by trying to kill you if you get too close. Personally, I’ve helped him out a couple of times: during the first game and another one of the three or four I’ve played because I didn’t remember. And you? Have you ever helped him out?
