Stellaris is getting another extensive DLC called Cosmic Storms, which will be released in September. Here you can find out what to expect!

From September 10, 2024, there will be new content to discover in the long-running sci-fi game Stellaris, as the next expansion, “Cosmic Storms,” is in the starting blocks. This was officially announced today by Paradox Interactive, with the release initially planned for the PC version.

As the name of the add-on suggests, the expansion introduces cosmic storms into the game. These are phenomena that are stronger than civilizations and permeate the galaxy. Specifically, this manifests itself in eight types of cosmic storms (electric, particle, gravitational, magnetic, radiant, stardust, veil and nexus) that replace the existing space storms and appear randomly on the map. They move through the galaxy at different speeds and grow and shrink over time.

In addition, the 12.99 euro add-on, which is being developed in cooperation with Behaviour Interactive, brings with it three new state elements (Astrometeorology, Storm Devotion, Environmental Architects), the Storm Hunter origin and two prequel stories.
