We’re taking you on a Magellan-class ship in the Starship Simulator. Before we set off for a system near Earth that Star Trek fans fear, we first have to power the lights and consoles on the bridge. Such a ship needs to be operated correctly; according to the developer, it is part of an “incredibly accurate simulation.” The big preview of the Starship Simulator tells you what plans the developers have. After we’ve arrived and Locutus hopefully leaves us alone, we leave the bridge and pay a visit to the fusion reactor at the other end of the ship, which is still sparsely furnished in the current version. But the dimensions and the level of detail aimed for in terms of technology and atmosphere are more than just imaginable.
