The release of Baldur’s Gate 3’s highly anticipated major Patch 7 is approaching, and Larian Studios is treating us to a new, most promising (and evil) preview yet.
Baldur’s Gate 3’s highly anticipated Patch 7 will be released in September. This promises to be huge, and in particular will bring full support for mods on both PC and consoles. It will also add major quality of life additions and new content for the nastiest players, among other things. That’s exactly the element we’re interested in here.
Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 7 looks as promising as it is bloody
Baldur’s Gate 3 celebrates its glorious first anniversary today. Even though Larian is already working on two new games that we are keeping a close eye on, the cheerful Belgian studio is not finished with the Forgotten Realms. In addition to a huge Patch 7 expected in September, we can expect more updates in the future. However, they should not be so large-scale. This famous patch is in fact a form of passing the torch for the absolute GOTY 2023 to the fans, with a community that will then have all the tools to keep it alive for years to come thanks to the full support of the mods.
Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 7 will not be lacking in new content either. Among the most anticipated, we do not have a very happy ending. Players who are fans of the “Dark Impulse” character or who prefer to take on the role of the villain felt a bit neglected in this area. Larian has understood this well and will therefore offer them a more satisfying conclusion. The studio has also shared a new overview of what to expect in this regard.
You can find this in the following post on the official Baldur’s Gate 3 X.com account. Be careful though, this little teaser could contain important information SPOILER. Larian makes this clear with the accompanying text to the video: “ If you think happily ever after isn’t for you, there are a whole bunch of cutscenes with bad endings in Patch 7. Here’s a little taster! But beware of spoilers ».
