The next Call of Duty is just around the corner! Developed by Treyarch, it seems to tick many boxes to excite fans of the franchise.
CoD makes its cinema
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 was presented for minutes during the Xbox conference last June and takes the bull by the horns to enchant fans once again. After recent episodes that were heavily criticized by both the press and players, The series seems to be doing its best to come back strong. The big novelty of this episode in terms of gameplay is none other than the Omnimovement, which, as we have already mentioned, represents a real overhaul of the hero movement system. Then we received confirmation of the Zombies mode, which delighted the first fans. While waiting for Call of Duty NEXT, scheduled for August 28 and which should reveal some details about the multiplayer mode, Treyarch has confirmed the return of the “Theater” mode, which in turn delighted lovers of the license.
Introduced in the very first episode of Black Ops in 2010, Theater Mode allows players to relive their heroic deeds (or failures) by choosing the appropriate camera angles. This feature, which had already reached its peak in Halo 3 in 2007, allowed many enthusiasts to create machinima or simply immortalize clips on video when the recording options built into consoles were not yet available. In addition to being useful for reviewing your best games, the mode is also very useful for improving your skills: thanks to the ability to move the camera, the player can see how an opponent gained the upper hand during a fight. The best techniques can therefore be analyzed and then reproduced in another game. This explains why Theater mode is so popular.

Soon in your hands
Activision seems to have listened to fan feedback and seems to have put together a ton of content for its flagship franchise. With its promising single-player mode, refreshed gameplay, 16-map multiplayer, hopefully complete theater mode, new weapons, and numerous home-made gadgets, Black Ops 6 has a lot of bullets to hit on the mile on paper. The verdict is soon in: the game will be released on October 25, 2024 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The beta begins on August 30, 2024. As a reminder, Black Ops 6 will be released as “day one” on Game Pass this year.
