With the launches that we’ve already seen with the Galaxy S24 and Pixel 9, you might think that no major products will be unveiled for the rest of the year; nothing could be further from the truth. Even if we ignore Apple and its new iPhones, Android manufacturers have several surprises in the works. Surprises that are no longer so much thanks to leaks.
Samsung is behind many of these “surprises,” such as the upcoming launch of the Galaxy S24 FE, the new mobile phone that will represent the cheapest way to access the most desired features of the Galaxy AI. But that’s not the only thing Samsung is preparing. Now, Android Headlines has revealed another launch expected very soon, that of its upcoming high-end Galaxy Tab S10 tablets.
And yes, it seems that Samsung is mainly targeting the high-end, because according to the leak, the new Galaxy Tab S10 range will consist of only two models, and both will focus on a “premium” experience. Concretely, the two devices will be the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra; Therefore, there will be no “base” version of the Galaxy Tab S10, at least not for now.
It’s entirely possible that a base version of the S10 will launch in the coming months, but it’s also possible that it will never hit the market; in that case, users would have to opt for a model from the Galaxy Tab A range, or the Galaxy Tab S9 FE, which could remain part of Samsung’s product lineup.
It’s clear that Samsung’s priority this generation is to take away sales of the iPad Pro, Apple’s best tablet; so it will present two very competent tablets, and perhaps the most powerful with Android. Expect that Galaxy AI is very important to attract Apple users, and in fact, one of the leaked images shows some of its functions, such as the summary of saving a recipe.
The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra will retain one of the most controversial decisions Samsung has made recently, the notch or notch on the screen to house the front cameras and sensors. It’s the kind of thing that some people don’t mind but others can’t stand. If we’re the latter, the good news is that the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus won’t have a “notch”, with a full screen but in images it has thicker edges as a result.
Samsung is expected to introduce the new Galaxy Tab S10 tablets this October, so they could be introduced alongside the Galaxy S24 FE, which is also expected to be launched soon.
