Silk is used to craft rare and epic armorwhich can really help improve your stats in the early areas Black Myth: Wukong. How much silk you need depends on the type of armor piece and its rarity. Where to find Silk in Black Myth: Wukong

Silk is said to be rare in Chapter 1 of Black Myth: Wukongand although it seems to drop randomly from some bosses like Elder Jinchi — he didn’t drop one for us, but others claim to have gotten some from him — you can reliably get two from the Large Chamber Shrine Shop in the Secret: Old Guanyin Temple Area.

If you are in Chapter 2you will find more and more sources of silk. Powerful enemies randomly drop silk, as do bosses like the Second Prince of the Flowing Sands. But most importantly, you can reliably buy some from the shrines in Chapter 2. This trend—being able to buy rare resources from shrines in any area—will continue as you progress through the game, so always check inventory and spend your Will on resources like Silk when you get the chance.
