A game that even appeared on Steam ahead of time and before being announced, which rules out any kind of surprise when it is officially announced.

Deadock Officially Revealed

Although Valve tried to pretend the game didn’t exist, The reality is that since its release on Steam on April 28, 2024, the game has gathered thousands of players, until reaching its peak of 45,000 on August 15. Despite being invite-only and forbidden from talking about the game, Deadlock has had a steady stream of news and leaks in recent months. Something that ended with its official announcement today.

Finally Valve has officially revealed Deadlocka “new” Hero shooter. Official details are brief at the moment, with a official page on Steam and a trailer showing one of the different characters that will be available. Of course, they warn there that it is still in the “early stages of development with provisional graphics assets and gameplay experimental”.

There is currently a deadlock 20 heroes divided into three types: Tank, Support and Assassin. Each of them is equipped with four basic skills and participates in the games accompanied by their own minions, constantly busy shooting at the opposing minions. The pace of the game is fast and involves a certain verticality. With this, we can imagine the game as a mixture between Overwatch and DOTA 2 .
