Deadlock: Valve finally officially unveils its shooter

Deadlock, finally, officially, Shooter, unveils, Valve

After weeks of leaks and speculation, Valve has finally officially confirmed its new shooter Deadlock.

For weeks, thousands of players have found their way into Deadlock, the new competitive shooter from Valve – only that it had not yet been officially announced. That has now changed, because the makers of Half-Life have now spoken about the game and finally revealed Deadlock.

Valve has refrained from giving a really detailed presentation, but has now at least confirmed its own connection to Deadlock by Product page of the hero shooter on Steam went online. Valve is listed as both developer and publisher, but there is only a short animated teaser for you. There is no comment on the technical specifications or game details.

In addition, the administrator also posted a message on the official Discord server. It states that they are loosening the guidelines for public conversations about Deadlock and will allow streaming, community websites and discussions about the game in the future. The current development status has not changed, however, and they are sticking to letting players try out Deadlock by invitation only.

Even though Deadlock already has more than 40,000 gamers playing simultaneously on Steam, the fact remains that not everyone who is interested can get their hands on it for the time being.
