Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 made a surprise appearance during the Gamescom Opening Night Live stream, with Raven Software’s Katherine Anderson and Jon Zuck taking the stage to unveil a new trailer.
The trailer gives us a closer look at what players can expect from the game’s campaign, with Anderson saying we can expect “sensational action where players question everything and trust no one,” and it sounds like there may be open combat – or possibly open world – missions.
The trailer shows that when players play as Pantheon, they also have an impressive automatic homing knife, as well as impact grenades and multi-purpose wheels, which are worth looking forward to. More importantly, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be open for testing from September 6 to 9.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 was first revealed during the Xbox Showcase at Summer Game Fest earlier this year, along with a release date of October 26. Since then, we’ve slowly been getting a ton of additional information from official sources, including a full look at the Zombies mode this month.
Black Ops 6 will also be available on Game Pass, which is great news for those who subscribe to the service. All in all, we’re in the hype phase of the pre-release era of Black Ops 6 – at this point, I just want to play the damn game!
