As an open world survival crafting game 7 days to die throws so many different resources and materials at you. It’s hard for any new player to sift through the baggage to find the most valuable, and often it’s hard to actually find the most valuable. For example, legendary parts. They’re a crucial crafting component as you approach the endgame, but how to get some yourself is often unclear.
How to get legendary parts in 7 days to die!
Where to get legendary parts
There are only three ways to get legendary pieces. The most common way to get them is as a quest reward for end-game vendor quests. They are challenging and usually require a small party and lots of ammo and supplies to survive the task. Here are some examples of how to get them:
- If your game’s loot level is higher than 15, in loot containers.
- Rarely as a quest reward for level 5 merchant quests
- Guaranteed as a quest reward for level 6 merchant quests
- Occasionally available from retailers
Of course, level 6 merchant quests are some of the most challenging and time-consuming in the game, which is why they pay so well. They usually involve clearing hordes of zombies from key landmarks like the prison.
Why you need legendary parts
Despite the challenge of late-game vendor quests, legendary parts are worth your time and energy, allowing you to craft quality 6 weapons, armor, and gathering tools. Quality 6 is legendary, designed for levels 51-60, and allows three unique mod slots per item.
At maximum quality the following effects occur:
- Maximum durability
- More available mod slots
- Melee damage, block damage, stamina cost and attacks per minute increase
- Range damage, magazine size, shots per minute and effective range increase
- Increased armor and explosion resistance
However, there is no guarantee that you will get a quality 6 item with better stats than a quality 5 or 4 item. However, the extra mod slots make up for the lower stats.
When you reach the endgame, you’ll find that ridding a massive POI of its zombie threat is a satisfying challenge. But it’s easier when you have one of the most potent weapons in the game, all thanks to legendary parts!
