As much as we loved testing the Apple AirPods Max, our biggest complaint was their price. Now that they’re available for $399 on Amazon, we really can’t complain anymore.
We gave Apple’s AirPods Max a 4-star rating in our review, praising the sound quality, “industry-leading active noise cancellation,” and excellent materials and construction. We did, however, find them overpriced, which at $550 is understandable.
But these headphones have a lot going for them. Starting with their superb listening experience and perfect fit to your head. They even offer a personalized listening experience based on the unique shape of your ear. And then there’s the noise reduction.
“Most high-end noise-canceling headphones have a transparency mode that leaves the noise cancellation on but uses the microphones to pick up some outside sound, allowing you to have a quick conversation or hear other important sounds around you. Apple’s transparency mode is light years ahead of everyone else’s. It sounds clearer, more natural, and more normal than any other noise-canceling headphones I’ve ever used. It’s almost like not wearing headphones at all, except you can still hear your music,” our expert notes.
So don’t hesitate to place your order for the Apple AirPods Max for $399 on Amazon while you still can, because we never know when the deal expires.
