Next October 24th, Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol 1 will be one year since its launch. Since then, Konami’s franchise has been present. Whether with collaborations with Fortnite or with the updates of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eatera game that will be released at the end of 2024. Now, Konami producer Noriaki Okamura —in an interview for the IGN media— answered if Metal Gear Solid 4 will be part of the Master Collection Vol 2.
This is Okamura’s answer to the question about the arrival of Metal Gear Solid 4 to the Master Collection Vol 2:
«We are definitely aware of this situation with Metal Gear Solid 4 (MGS4). Unfortunately, we can’t say much at the moment, as Vol 1 contains MGS 1-3 “Dot, dot, dot… You can probably connect the dots!” Okamura added, “Right now we’re still internally concerned about what we should do for the future of the series. So we’re sorry we can’t reveal anything right now. But please stay tuned.”
With Tokyo Game Show 2024 just around the corner, it’s highly likely that Konami will announce or give some glimpse of the Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol 2. TGS 2024 will take place from Thursday, September 26 to Sunday, September 29, 2024 at the Makuhari Messe convention center in Chiba, Japan.
Among the strong candidates to be in Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol 2 is located MGS: Peace Walkerwhich continues the story of Snake Eater. Before this game in the chronology is located the game MGS: Portable Opsa title in which Hideo Kojima was not involved, but whose events are mentioned in Metal Gear Solid 4 and the application Database. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriotsanother of the games that we think has to be in it, Vol 2 presents problems due to the architecture in which it was programmed. This is confirmed by the sources that leaked the existence of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater.
Los ‘Spin-off’ Metal Gear Ac!d along with its PSP sequel, Metal Gear: Ghost Babel of Game Boy Color and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance are also among the possibilities, even though they don’t have Kojima’s last name. Konami is the one who has the power over the brand.
