Nintendo confirmed this morning that it has officially run out of replacement parts for the new series of Nintendo 3DS models and will therefore no longer be accepting repairs for the system in the Land of the Rising Sun. The Kyoto-based video game company previously said that would be the case and that repairs would eventually stop. The European and American branches of the company seem to still be accepting the fixes.
“As we ran out of parts needed for repairs, we stopped accepting repairs for the New Nintendo 3DS system [KTR-001] from August 28, 2024.”
